Are you sick of dieting? Yeah, me too!

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just change a few things in your life, that would make a huge impact for your health?

I've got some Fit Tips that may do just that.

Here are 10 things you can begin to do today that will make a difference for your health:

  1. Ditch the breakfast bagel. Studies show that egg eaters lost 65% more weight when eating eggs for breakfast, rather than bagels. Eggs contain all nine essential amino acids, they are packed with protein, which helps increase muscle and burn fat.
  2. By skipping the elevator and taking the stairs, you can burn an extra 16,425 calories per year. Little choices add up.
  3. Want instant energy? Your body needs both complex & simple carbohydrates to fuel workouts. Try topping one slice of whole grain toast with 1/2 sliced banana, 1 Tbsp nut butter (I like almond butter) & cinnamon for that instant energy!
  4. Add high intensity resistance training to your workout routine. It burns 18% more calories 24-hours post workout than traditional strength training. Just add a few bouts of cardio between sets to boost the burn.
  5. Want some happiness in a cup? Coffee can improve cognitive function, increase dopamine levels and stimulate your workout 10-15% longer. Sip a cup before your workout for a jolt of energy.
  6. Use the Pistachio Principle - Study shows that nuts with shells help to consume 41% fewer calories because they take longer to eat & shells are a visual cue of your intake.
  7. Tune in, not out - Eating meals while watching TV results in consuming an average of 288 additional calories. Turn off the television and enjoy your meal.
  8. Eat your rice - Brown rice has 2x the fiber of white rice. However, white rice is a fast-digesting carbohydrate and is perfect post-workout, try sushi after you sweat.
  9. Drink up - Sip two cups of water before eating to consume less. Your body can't tell the difference between hunger & thirst so drink up before you chow down.
  10. Be Mindful - Don't "pre-load" your next bite - you'll savor your food more, eat slower and become full faster. Research shows you will also eat less.

There you have it, ten ways you can begin to change your health without going on a diet.

Just choose one and begin improving your health one day at a time.

If you are consistent, small changes really will add up to big results!
